I have read articles that debate which one they should take. I think Ball is a better fit with Russell in the backcourt. Minny doesn't really have a playmaker on their team. Think about what Ball could do to Russell and KAT game.

Iím not saying it doesnít make sense, it does. But do you really see DLo liking the idea of not being the primary ball handler?

Russell played SG on GS and I didn't hear about any issues. I think he cares more about his shots than running an offense anyway.

I dont see it this way at all. The only way Minn takes Ball is if they're trading Russ. You say they dont have play makers but they 2 guys who average 6 plus assists a game, and 2 more who average 4. I dont call that a team missing a play maker.

When didnít he have the ball in his hands? Still had it plenty, shot plenty, and passed plenty. Ball isnít an off-ball type. I donít see that being a great fit. Regardless of what we call him position wise, DLo has been a mostly on-ball guy

An article debating it is different than that actually being the teamís preference.

Fair enough, but let's just say Ball would be a much better PG because he is pass first and Russell is more of a combo guard. I really like the Ball-Russell fit better then Russell-Edwards.

I have heard that Minny is actually interested in him.

A team being interested in a player is not the same as a team having that player as their top choice. I agree with you that they would absolutely take him. I just donít agree that they would take him over Edwards.

I would think Minny would be focused on adding a PF with them trotting out Juancho at PF to start.

Toppin or Deni make sense. Edwards makes more sense than LaMelo from a BPA perspective.

I guess LaMelo is a possibility for them, but as others have pointed out that would take the ball out of Deangeloís hands and wouldnít help their defensive issues.

I know this and I am not saying they will definitely draft Ball. However, I am saying he is one of the top considerations for them.

On Minnesota, despite it being a small sample size, Juancho was averaging 13 ppg on 42% from 3, with 5 3 point attempts per game.

I think Deni makes a lot of sense for Minny.

    DLo-Beasley-Deni-Juancho-KAT is interesting
