Predicting a big game from Randle, SAC is soft on inside.

Bobby Portis will replace Mitchell Robinson in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Kings.
This is something that David Fizdale was talking about doing ahead of New York's season opener, and his justification here is that he wants to see if Portis can help open up the floor for Julius Randle, who has been struggling

Who would have thought Randle and mitch wont work ha

    "Open the court for randle"

LoL like hes some superstar now that we should be buildong around.

This team really is delusional and will do anything possible to try and make their off season acquisitions look good.

The strength and future of this team is frank, rj, mitch. All 3 should be starting together the rest of the season.

Joke coach fiz has run a new starting lineup and rotations every game, he has no clue what hes doing.

    thanks for starting the thread:

Well I guess Fiz is trying and we know it was not Randle who would sit:

David Fizdale said he wants to see if this lineup with Bobby Portis opens the floor for Julius Randle. He said Mitchell Robinsonís finger injury didnít factor in to the decision. Fizdale: ďThis is much more about seeing if that combination (Randle & Portis) can continue to grow.Ē

Bobby Portis will start on Sunday against SAC in place of Mitchell Robinson.

Well well well it's about damn time Portis started with Randle. I have been asking for this before the season even started.

this is what i feared, our best prospect last year was Mitch, and we sign a guy that can't play with him and moves him to the bench.

Well, something had to be done about that starting line-up, and the spacing so I guess Mitch is the logical player to do that with. Listen, right now, the Knicks starters are a half court team which means that Frank and Portis should fit a little better with them.

Having Mitch running and gunning with the second team that has a PG like Payton, to run with Ellis (should be Trier), Knox, should help him. He's not utilized in our half court offense at all.

If anything I think randle should come off the bench and let portis and Mitch play together
    Frank
    Rj
    Knox
    Portis
    Mitch

Knicks playing KNox and Mitch w/o a PG is ridiculous
