Yeah -- that contract is looking like a bargain. He's playing like a true #1 -- and he's still no where close to reaching his potential.

That said, there isn't a legitimate reason to sit Myers for either the way he is playing right now unless they are just trying to manage his load.
Blocks shots, wins board battles and clears the porch......

braun does all those things and is a righty. Who honestly cares if its either? Braun is a better skater anyway. Not by that much but its still something, he has more experience, and has been playing fine lately. Why even care about it lol. I don't care at all about hagg not playing.

All those fans that wanted Provorov gone can have a big helping of crow and feel free to stay off his bandwagon.

Absolutely not. He was our most valuable asset, coming off a down year. Trading him or thinking of doing so at the time for a marner was not out of the question. Itís not like people didnít want him here, he simply was our most value asset and worth discussing trade scenarios.

Honest question -- what would you rather have? A Norris caliber defenseman at $6.75M AAV or an Art Ross level winger at $11M AAV?

All of those things are done by players who aren't good enough to help possess the puck to begin with.

You don't need to block shots, win board battled, clear the porch or hit anyone if your team has the puck. When Hagg is on the ice, the other team has the puck.

It's why Hagg is not good. I think he's a useful 6/7 guy. You could do worse. He can be a useful swingman in case of injury. The issue is that the Flyers have 6 guys more talented that he is.

Hagg just shouldn't be playing much on this roster. Myers is far more talented. Ghost is too. Let's get back to our 6 most talented guys, soon. Hagg has done an okay job, but he just doesn't have the talent.

Defense but we so heavily invested in defense that our offense feels like it needs it.
