The Lev Parnas interview occurred after the articles had been voted on in the House. Senate should investigate new information stemming from that, which is what they would do if they had an interest in taking this trial seriously.

the house charges, the senate tries. What court in the country discovers all evidence prior to the charge?

Standard protocol would be both gathering evidence. Outright refusing to do it is lazy, dangerous, stupid, and inexcusable

This lady needs to quit the sarcasm during her presentation.

    That is very tacky!

I love how these House managers make an actual statement or event and then interject their sarcastic comment for EFFECT afterwards.

Not if the accused says not to. The person on trail should get to decide what is admissible as evidence.

New ABC/WP poll has Trump at his highest approval rating ever and 51% think Trump should not be impeached. Poll was taken after the start of the trial

Geez, even when Trump gets some rosy numbers you still can't be honest about it! Here's what the poll actually said.

    1. 47% remove, 49% don't remove
    2. 52% approve of impeachment, 45% disapprove

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...b3a_story.html
The nationwide survey, which overlapped with the start of arguments in Trumpís impeachment trial in the Senate this week, finds 47 percent of the public saying senators should remove Trump from office and 49 percent saying they should not. Those views are similar to a Post-ABC poll in December, in which 49 percent supported Trumpís removal while 46 percent were opposed.

Nearly 8 in 10 Americans say they feel ďstronglyĒ about the issue, with 38 percent strongly supporting Trumpís removal and 40 percent strongly opposed.

Partisans continue to be starkly divided on Trumpís fate, with more than 8 in 10 Democrats supporting his removal and more than 8 in 10 Republicans opposed. Independents narrowly lean against removal, with 42 percent saying the Senate should remove Trump from office while 51 percent say it should not.

Apart from the question of whether to remove Trump, 52 percent say they approve of the vote by the House to impeach the president, slightly higher than the 45 percent who disapprove. When President Bill Clinton was impeached in 1998, roughly 4 in 10 approved of the Houseís vote.
You always get excited when an outlier poll shows up in favor of Trump, but his average approval has been unchanged for over 2 years now and it will likely stay that way until the election.

I donít think you understand impeachment.

If congress agreed that Trumps tweets are unpresidential, they can impeach and remove. Even Lindsey Graham said this much during Clintonís impeachment. Itís cleansing the office. Itís not criminal acts.

So people saying ďitís not impeachableĒ are ridiculous.

Question the consistency or lackthereof of politicians sure.

Is that the unbeaten trail or the one that's well worn?
