the problem is that Lebron, Davis, Kahwi, Jokic, Towns, Dame, Curry, Jokic, westbrook, and harden are just about locks for the all star game leaving two spots between Donovan, Gobert, LMA, Porzingus, booker, Draymond, Murray, and a couple more. someome mentioned sga, but he has about a 0% chance at it despite averaging 24/3 right now.

Porzingis in the East would have made it but in a packed West he might not but Booker he should but he will get snubbed again. Draymond obviously will but he shouldn't. LaMarcus Aldridge he will no doubt. DeRozan though hasn't made it in a while. I mean if DeRozan were in the East he would. SGA as a sophomore making the All Star team...I mean it could happen but if only if he keeps putting up numbers.

Who cares - it's a stupid popularity contest. And don't get me started on how stupid the All Star game is.

well looks like there is another spot open with curry being hurt. I did not mention PG cause we weren't sure when he was coming, but looks like its going to be soon. that would give him enough time to make it so maybe that leaves only one spot open.

I actually love this list especially of first timers like Siakam, Sabonis, Tatum, Trae, Mitchell, Gobert, Doncic and especially Booker

“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

Siakam is out playing Butler. He should get the PF spot while Greek gets the SF spot in the east starting 5.

Karl Anthony Towns will definitely be an all star over Jokic

I think Draymond will be the guy that won't make it. Warriors record will be fairly bad, which will impact the selection. The amount of games he's going to play will be in question too.

Jokic is a notorious slow starter, but he has clout and rep now as long as he is around 20 ppg and the nuggets in the thick of it out West he is going to be in.

Well considering Luka Doncic is demonstrably a top 10 player in the NBA right now (7th in scoring, 2nd in assists, 10th in rebounds, 1st in triple doubles) he is a no-brainer. He is half an assist shy of averaging a triple double for the season so far. Still cant legally drink. Generational talent. Fun to watch. All-star hands down and long shot MVP threat this year if Mavs finish in top 5 or 6 in west.

That doesn't really matter with the current form of the ASG.
