Good win. But this game shows even with Jimmy, Iggy, Crowder, and DJJ, they couldn't contain a guy like Ross who's not some prolific superstar scorer, he's a streaky role player.

Miami is a good team, not great.

Streaky role players always go off on us like that other night when Seth looked like Steph

Heís definitely one of those guys thatís hard to stop when they get hot though so it is what it is I guess.

Happy to win but man it was ugly, Before jimmy came to Miami he was a historically great closer, now heís terrible.

Biggest test coming up on Friday, on the road against a below .500 team.

The worst thing that could happen to us is getting the 2nd seed and having to play a below .500 team in the first round

    lol

I expect Miami to finish either in the 2nd or 3rd spot. Anything other then that, Spo needs to be checked by Pat.

    Enough of the mediocrity.

Jimmy was never the greatest of shooters but man did his jump shot plummet this season, he was always at least average from shots off dribble, catch-and-shoot and overall jump shots

I don't know if it's a confidence thing (even tho he likes to project that hes SUPER confident in himself) but it's been a really bummer that hes shooting below his career averages

Seems like you're having some revisionist expectations.

Before the season started if I told you Miami would basically not have Winslow for all but 10 or so games and have Herro out for over 1 month and Miami was in place to win 53 games you would definitely be more than satisfied.

Please name 1 coach who's not currently under contract already who would have done better with this team.

I definitely blame Spo for not getting Miami in the playoffs last year, because before that season I felt Miami could finish about .500 and those 2 extra wins would have got us in. But this year he's definitely maximized the rosters potential. I felt this was a 45-47 win team and we'll probably win more than that.

Damn looking like a first round exit if we get that 2 seed.

ALOT has to happen for us to move up and Iím not sure it will based on what weíve seen the last month.

Also our current starting 5 is comprised of two all-stars who can't shoot and three undrafted players who entering this season were looked at like g-leaguers or 10th man bench players

Add that to the injuries, the trade, the consistent lineup changes and you typically don't end up with ~50 wins

Would love to get out of the Bucks side of the bracket, if we can keep this momentum going we have a real chance.

Which is why being up 22 against the Cavs and 12 against the Wolves with 4 minutes remaining and losing irks the **** out of me lol. We should be sitting at the 2 seed right now.

We control our own destiny here though, looking into it we have 2 more games against the Celtics. We have to win those 2 games and lose at least 1 less game other than those the rest of the way to tie them which I believe we would have the tie breaker. As for the Raptors theyíre 4 games ahead of us on the loss column and we only play them 1 more time, thats 3 more games to make up so thatís tough.

We shot ourselves in the foot in the last month but thereís still a very slim chance, if we lose either of the Celtics games weíre not going to pass them, if we lose the Raptors game we for sure wonít pass up the Raptors.

Our bench has been balling lately, if Meyers comes back and the starting lineup gets back to the dominance they had most of the season then we will really take a huge step forward.

I also think I see where Tyler will fit back in when he returns, the 2nd unit has been running with Robinson a lot and I expect Tyler to take his spot there when he returns. I guess that means DJJ is out of the lineup unless we decide to keep Meyers out of the lineup which I think would be a mistake.

    Dragic
    Herro
    Iggy
    Crowder
    KO

When DJJ is hitting shots heís a huge plus though because heís also getting oops, offensive rebounds, and defending far better than Herro and Meyers. Spo has some tough decisions to make.

Also it hasnít been said enough and Iíve been hard on him but KO is tearing it up lately. I hope he can keep this up.
