Finally see Heat basketball!! Keep this up and keep the win streak going. The Mavs and Nets wins we’re nice but tonight was Heat basketball when you factor in the defense.

It’s a damn shame we can’t beat below .500 teams

At the beginning of the season Miami was beating all the below .500 teams, remember?

Don't worry about most of these games. Teams will start putting together their runs shortly. Miami will be either the 2nd or 3rd seed when the playoffs come around.

Yea started 12-0 against them and now we’re like 18-12 and we’re tied for most losses in the league after leading by double digits.

I doubt we move up any in the standings

Before tonight the Bucks were 8-0 on second night of back-to-backs, so the excuse of "the Bucks were playing on the second night of a back-to-back" doesn't really apply to a veteran/deep team like them....also we had Herro/Leonard still out and we're a team tinkering with roster/lineup changes

Hopefully we can build off this, Herro/Leonard can come back sooner rather than later and the tweaks to the lineups start to mend over time

Just don’t know who’s minutes they take honestly. Leonard comes in for DJJ to get the original starters out there but then what? That leaves no minutes for Herro and DJJ

So, is the team still done?

Depends if they will still give effort and act like they care like they did last night. He’ll they almost dropped the ball again against the Nets the other night. We’ll see if they continue to build on this with this effort and passion or if they’ll get cocky again and start getting their ***** kicked by terrible teams.

Still have to win a road game against a sub .500 team as well. Great home team, terrible road team.

Miami has shown all season long that they are not a top tier team. They are on that 2nd or 3rd tier.

This is the NBA where any team can surprise anyone. But as they have shown all season their likelihood is a 2nd round playoffs ceiling. Anyone expecting more than that is probably hopelessly optimistic. Nobody should be shocked by a close 1st round loss either.

The trade added more depth but did not really increase the talent base significantly.

No Sir! Spo needs to do his damn job and get this team to a seeding where they can advance to the 2nd rd.

I feel that we are 7-10pts better in a tough playoff game because of the talent we acquired. This also factors in on the defensive side, holding are opponents under their norm.

Who’s minutes are cut and who’s out of the rotation when Herro comes back?

Herro will get his minutes if healthy, I'm assuming some combination of Nunn/Dragic/Crowder/Robinson minutes, Herro probably won't get the 28 min per game he was getting previously but something around 15-25

Seeding will be key, staying at 4th will improve our chances of winning a round but getting the 5th or 6th seed and my expectations would be a first round loss (doesn't mean I think we'd have no chance to win if we got the 5th/6th seed but I just wouldn't count on it)

But say if we did end up with the 4th seed, would I be surprised if we made the ECF? No, but that wouldn't be my expectation, my expectation would be a first round win and keeping the 2nd round competitive at home

I could see that I guess, 3-4 minutes from each player. Maybe some of KOs minutes go down and they go to Crowder. KO Crowder and Iggy are killing it lately though so hard to justify taking their minutes. Robinson needs to be on the court as much as possible with his shooting and impact on games. I guess DJJ is out.

Well in that scenario you have to go through the Bucks in the 2nd round to get to the ECF so I would be surprised but we honestly match up good with them. We have many different bodies we can throw at Giannis and Middleton. We’re looking at the Pacers or Sixers in the first round, both of which I think we matchup with well
