Way too early. Maybe week 12 then we'll see. There's so many scenarios that you'll go crazy trying to figure them out. We have a shot.....but that's about it right now. The objective remains the same.....we still have to win, regardless.

Agree. But no matter how early, itís big to be in the top 6. Then you know that the only formula is to keep winning. Outside the top 6 you need help, so still a big deal

I'll take the Bills, Chiefs, Colts all losing it's a good thing. Too bad the Rams couldn't get it done against the Steelers.

man. it is going to be an absolute dogfight to get into the playoffs this year... there are a lot of teams with easy schedules this year (and obviously a lot of weak teams in the AFC.)

let's look at our race in the AFC West first...
KC (6-4) - at LAC, bye, OAK, at NE, DEN, at CHI, LAC...
OAK (5-4) - CIN, at NYJ, at KC, TEN, JAX, at LAC, at DEN

If KC wins every game except the game at NE, they'll finish with a 11-5 record
If the KC game is the only game we lose the rest of the season, we'll be at 11-5 as well, and lose out on tiebreaker.

Looking at the Wild Card teams... we can sort of discount the Titans, Jags, and Chargers... their schedules are difficult the rest of the way....
TEN (5-5) has home games vs. JAX, HOU, NO, and road games at IND, OAK, and HOU.
JAX (4-5) has home games vs. TB, LAC, and IND and road games at IND, TEN, OAK, and ATL.
LAC (4-6) has "home" games (LOL) vs. KC, MIN, and OAK, and road games at DEN, JAX, and KC

That leaves us with Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Oakland, and Indy to duke it out for the two WC spots.
INDY (5-4) has the most difficult schedule. They're home vs JAX, TEN, and CAR. and are on the road for HOU, TB, NO, and CAR. I think they'll lose at least 3 of their last 7 games.
BUF (6-3) has home games vs. DEN, BAL, and NYJ, and on the road for MIA, DAL, PIT, and NE. I think they lose at least 3 of those as well...
PIT (5-4) has a fairly easy schedule... @CLE, @CIN, CLE, @ARI, BUF, @NYJ, @BAL. They might lose a couple... although 5 of their last 7 are on the road.

With our schedule being the easiest of the bunch, I think we can go 6-1 or 5-2 to finish the season 11-5 or 10-6.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

No, I said 8-8, or 9-7. There's quite a few that did say that.

The Chiefs are becoming the walking wounded, kinda like us. They just lost Ogbah to a torn pec yesterday as well. Looking very pedestrian. This division is ripe for the picking. REEEEALLY need that game at Arrowhead though.

Like I said, there's too much going on, and it's too early. Give it another 3 weeks. No doubt, it's right there in front of us. Patience is a virtue my friend.
