Miggy isnít needed. Bullpen stud is needed.

Britton can leave next year. Otto stinks. Chad stinks. Chappy will decline soon.

Yes bring in hot wives. What section is that? Iíd pay top dollar to tell Mrs. Stocking how good the Lobels sandwich is.

The basic plan....Judge hits a solo shot....starter goes 5...bullpen takes over....we need Hader.

Send Miggy, he has no place here.

Also he hit 27 hrs with 54 doubles. U know that some of the double will turn into HRs

    I fully agree.

So trade him when his value is low?

No thanks. His bat is exactly what this team currently needs.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

I'm not a fan of it either, but yet I can understand it... there is so much specialization with bullpen usage that managers are abusing pitching changes which are slowing the game....

Of course, 2.5 minute commercial breaks between innings won't slow things much... the rule used to be 1 minute... now it's 2.5... that may not sound like much.. but over 9 innings that 17 minutes vs 42.5 minutes... like the grab for more money isn't slowing it down at all.. no.. can't be...

so instead they need stupid rules like this... greedy pigs.

See, here's the thing. You want BumGardner, who I wouldn't even consider (since he would be absolutely bombed in Yankees stadium with his 50% to 60% fly ball rate - Keichel would be cheaper and better free agent with his ground ball rate and the Yankees defense) and you are dismissing Paxton who may come into his own in a big way this year. I want Paxton and agree with the extension scenarios less than 5 years, so we might agree on that and the QO for both Paxton and Tanaka are no brainers, IMO.

They calculated on MLB Network that there were about 3000 pitching changes (I think) of less than 3 batters, but since some ended innings, it is more like half or less. Still to go from 1500 pitching changes to zero certainly changes the game.

Plus, the time savings is not significant, since the average time for those changes is 3 minutes and divided over a season is conservatively something like 42 seconds per game or less. It just doesn't make sense to change the rules of a game for 40 seconds.

Finally, I'll bet anything that you'll add more mound visits in the middle of relief pitcher appearances since they'll need more guidance how to pitch to certain batters and they'll be more intentional and unintentional walks. Imagine a lefty comes into the game and actually has a good outing striking out the 1st two batters who are lefty in a tight game in the late innings and then sees a big righty slugger and gives him an intentional walk, when there's a RH slider specialist in the pen. It's so insane.

Keep Paxton. Guy get's a lot of hate but is far from our worst problem.

Tanaka is not accepting a one year deal. As long as he remains healthy, has at least a decent year, 4 years at 60-80m (starting) is probably what he'll get. I don't know why but I have this feeling he's going to the West Coast after this contract.

DJ, Judge (long-term), and Gleyber (long-term) extensions please. Love Sanchez but he has to get his **** together, particularly behind the plate.

Trading Miggy is no for me. Value is too low, and I doubt him alone nets us Hader. There is no reason the Brewers should not be asking for a haul (Miggy, Garcia, AT LEAST another prospect). Plus, people are forgetting what this guy COULD be, and has shown flashes of (27 hr's and I think over 50 doubles in his rookie year). If that is legit, even most of that, I'll sign up all day. Granted, he needs to work on his dreadful throwing and overall D.
