    @josh2saint

    Who is the Executive of the Year in the NBA this season?
    I want to say Masai, but Pelinka has a very strong case.
    Turned a 37-win team into a possible 60+ win team through trades, signings, and coaching hires.

    Masai didnít do anything to really add to the team after KL and DG left. Itís been all Nick Nurse coaching.

    Rob got all the flack since Magic shat on him publicly.

    Rob is the executive of the year

    No question about it, Rob is the executive of the year, from a non playoffs team to a #1 seed in the west.

    Iím as content with the Lakers as I have been since Jerry West left:

    no off-court drama;
    Pelinkaís FA moves were (collectively) great -
    picking Dwight,
    believing in KCP,
    keeping Green patient,
    Caruso for 2 yrs,
    AB,
    MM;
    elite scouting depít;
    strong coaching;
    elite chemistry...

    Itís amazing that the team has built this roster despite losing so many talented young players - both the lottery picks and so many late draft hits (Zubac, Wagner, Svi, Bryant, Bonga). The scouting department has been simply incredible.
    Impressive when you list it like that.

    Rob has done a very good job considering all that went on with the front office.

    If Lakers are serious about signing JR Smith they should seriously consider Lance Stevenson.

    The NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and L.A. Clippers, as well as the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, are reportedly finalizing a plan to pay Staples Center workers who rely on income from games. Both leagues are suspended amid concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Kyle Goon of the Orange County Register reported the news, noting the three teams are working with AEG, which owns Staples Center, to compensate workers such as ushers and security personnel.

    The Lakers and Clippers also said they will pay game-night employees such as dance team members and announcers during the NBA's suspension.
