Most def, the 2-way players and THT to the G-League.

KCP, Boogie and Caruso (team friendly contract) could all be used as trade bait mid-way thru the season or even earlier. Shooters definitely won't be cut. I still think Rondo and Dudley will both play a decent amount of minutes when LBJ/AD are both out on load management.

He’s been working with a ton of lakers this year. I know a while back he sent out a tweet that made people think that the lakers were hiring him. I wonder if the lakers have hired him to an unofficial position. In other words, they pay him to work with their guys but he will still also have the freedom to work with other players around the league too.

I think a guy like that probably wouldn't want to be on staff with one team, because he could generate a lot more business by being open to players from all teams.

Jordan had a guy who was 'his' trainer, but that trainer opened up his own facility. That way he could generate more business from his association with MJ, than from MJ himself.

(There's only so much a shooting coach can coach. The rest is repetition, with some adjustments along the way. After a player knows what to do he just needs someone to shag balls for him, while the shooting coach can move on to another client.)

That’s exactly why I think the lakers hired him to an unofficial role. He spends time with several lakers but it doesn’t prevent him from coaching up players from other teams
