Most of last year's funk was due to awful coaching IMO, in regards to our pitching.

I would not trade Kingery, I'm excited for this season.

The only way Kingery is dealt now is if its for a HUGE name (Bryant, Arenado, young #1 SP). They wouldn't and shouldn't deal him for a middle of the rotation are or 5-6 hitter in a lineup.

    Kingery isnít getting traded.

I actually donít care much for coaching when it comes to baseball but Iím super excited to see Pryce and Girardi.

I've read that Nola and Arrieta are happy that Young is gone and they can return to pitching the way they pitch.

J.T. lost his arbitration case. 10 mil this year. What is a reasonable contract for both sides. 5/$70 agreeable?

Grandal got a 4/73 (and JT is younger/better), so I'd imagine JT surpasses that fairly easily. I'd say 5/110 is something I'd be expecting, which would make him the highest paid catcher per year surpassing Posey/Yadi/Grandal.

There is a decent chance Arrieta is awful this season but you should always take Spring Training with a major grain of salt. Veteran pitchers tend to work on new things in ST, which may cause them to get hit a little harder.

Plus it seems we got the old ball back according to pitchers in ST.

Team looks good. Kingery has a concerning amount of ks though. Gregorious got his first spring hit but has been stinging the ball lately. Howard got his first action. Bohm getting hits but no extra bass hits as of yet. Pitching has been decent. No one ahead in 5th spot though. Pivetta falling back though. Random thoughts done for now
