Segura has a full no trade clause, remember he might return to the Segura of old, with the new hitting coach.
I think Malle was forcing hitters into the new launch angle, cookie cutter swing philosophy, and it doesn't work as well with stablished hitters that have their own way, Dillon from his interviews seems like a guy who understands hitting from every angle and can coach different type of hitters.
Rumor is out that the Yankees made an initial offer to Gerrit Cole 7/245M.
Come on Phllies you can definitely 'do better' LOL.
Cole's a stud and I'd be ok with the Phillies getting him but I also won't be too upset when he signs elsewhere because giving older pitchers that much for that long usually doesn't end up that great. If he were 25 that would be a different story but he's almost 30, which would have me concerned.
Severe overpay for Strasburg. Makes wheeler deal look better

Harry, I grew up with the phillies and learned the game by your voice. You will always be missed but never forgotten. Though you are no longer with us, you'll never be "outta here" in our hearts!

Want nothing to with Cole now, he will sign for somewhere around $300 million. Go get Bumgarner before anyone else does. Plus sign Donaldson to play 3B.
lol remember when the harper deal was horrid? or even now how we overpaid for wheeler? they just gave a 31 year old pitcher who has pitched 200 innings once and is injury prone 245 million over 7 years at 35 mill a season lmfao... i want no part of stras even at 200 million and i sure as hell dont want cole for 300.
Strasburg to Nationals 7/245M. Looks like Rendon is all but gone now.
Phillies are link to Kris Bryant trade rumor.
Reality is the Phillies are not signing Gerrit Cole. I have not heard any rumors surrounding Kluber and Lindor BUT I would love for the Phillies to acquire both in a package deal with the Indians especially IF we can move Arrieta and Segura in the deal.
Nola
Wheeler

Kingery needs to be the everyday 2nd baseman. That is where he belongs IMO.
