Time for klentak to be on the outside looking in. Hire Girardi and ask him who he would like to be the GM.

yup... Mike Miss went on to say he cant see Middleton winning this because you got to let a GM pick their guy or you get rid of the front office.....

We are really *** backwards right now.... Owner wants to pick the coach because the GM wants the inferior coach and the coach we do get wont be able to pick their staff lol..... Middleton ****ed up badly by just letting kap go... He should have cleaned house right out of the gate.

Well, sometimes in business and corporate structure you have to accomodate to the big boss, and still produce with what you have, a good GM should be able to make it work.

Honestly I don't see the allure in Buckshowalter, he is 70 how good is he in the use of analytics? just because of his ties to McPhail in Baltimore doesn't cut it to me.

Breaking: Phillies hire Joe Girardi as next manager.

    A great hire IMO.

Rumor is that Girardi may target a pitching coach on the current Yankees staff as his pitching coach.

Do we end up with any of Cole, Stras, Wheeler, Keuchel, or someone else?

The Phillies need to get TWO from Cole, Strasburg, or Wheeler. I'm dreaming I know.
