You mean that his start was a fluke and he is not that good? I don't think so, Hoskins has a premier eye for the strikezone, he has power and his bat to ball skills could not have dimished, I believe it's a slump.

I think he has every tool to break out of it.

I hope so. I think he is a classy dude. He was bad for most of last season.

The Braves already have a head start when they signed reliever Will Smith. That is a solid and underrated signing.

They are gonna be crazy good next season, I hope the Donaldson loss affects them deeply.

I'm hearing they might bring back Donaldson, even tho they lose those pitchers they have Ian Anderson and Kyle Wright, and they are damn good prospects, I hate the braves.

Teharan is like the Phillies losing Arrieta and Keuchel isnt that huge of a loss either.

Hes pretty poop. Ks a little bit but walks a lot. Hes an extreme fly ball pitcher.

If he comes like super cheap as a 4th starter, sure.

Id put him behind Eflin and Nola and probably on par with Arrieta.

You know that given the astros stealing signs, I kind of believe it given Gerrit Cole's reaction after the WS loss in which he wore a Scott Boras Cap for the media like he wants to distance himself from the Astros organization.

How do you guys feel about offering Hunter Pence a 2 year deal?

i wouldnt do it... he is pretty awful now... i know he had a good rebound year this past season but its not worth the risk... we really dont need any more outfielders

    Yeah we need fielders.

A proposed rumor I saw was something around Bruce plus for Heyward and Bryant which would be the Phillies absorbing Heywards contract for Bryant. At least with Heyward you have good defense and decent pop. Id look into that. The Phillies can still absorb contracts.
