They used up all their offense the first inning of game 5 of the NLDS.

I get up at 4 am for my job. I never watch all of weekday games.

We're talking playoffs bud. Completely different. If you told me you watched every single inning of every single game, I'd question your sanity. No one can schedule their life around that unless you are part of the organization.

So Michael Taylor, who a few months ago was playing in Double A, and was a 3 win player just back in 2017, gets a home run today.

    It's crazy how baseball works.

Not completely different. Family comes before sports 10 out of 10 times.

I am not buying what you are selling. Sounds like an after the fact, face saving excuse. I'd bet a large sum of money that you would have watched the entirety of game five if it was the Nats with a 3-1 lead instead of the other way around.

Kind of a weak attempt at preserving the no-hitter by Soto right there. Disappointing.

He's not a great fielder. They were working with him earlier in the year on a possible transition to first base.

With that said, expecting this series to go 7.
This is what I've heard, too, on the west coast. Will root for Nats.

Did you mean MLB organization or the mob? I just watched Bullitt (1968) again and then read the book it was based on, so was thinking mob. Couldn't believe how loose it was at the airlines/airport back then. Okay for loaded guns on planes, airlines keep your luggage overnight, no ID necessary, etc.

Nonetheless, I'd like to have seen a better effort in that situation.
