I really missed watching and following minor league baseball this season. I hope they can go back to playing next season. There are so many players I can't wait to see how they have progressed since the end of the 2019 season.

So do I, its driving me nuts not knowing how guys like Gil, Medina, Dominguez and other are progressing. Most yrs even though I can't watch them play very often there is still a ton of info out there on their progress, nothing this yr

I feel like there are going to be tons of major player transformations. Dudes coming back either totally jacked or completely out of shape. Pitchers coming back either throwing 4-5 mph faster and those who come back having made no progress at all or have gone backwards or lost the ability to control their offerings. It's going to be a wild ride next Spring, that's for sure.

Derek Jeter is a lucky man.

New Dominguez Hr video from the right side
    https://twitter.com/short_porch/stat...185002496?s=20

BTW the kid is absolutely Jacked, not just for a 17yr old, he's Stanton type Jacked.

Also listen to the sound of his bat, thats as loud of a hit I've heard since Stanton massive 3 run jack against Tampa

I think I'm more excited to see how he does stateside next yr and see if we sign Arias then I am to see next yrs MLB club at this point.

That team won’t be winning anything with that rotation behind cole .

Agreed but Day, with a few adjustments, let's say Wells is the C and the yankees somehow move Stanton and then DJ is at first?

I won't disagree, however I think BA uses the current roster for their projections. No trades, FA or the like.

Dominguez latest tool rankings. Unbelievable for a 17 yr old kid who hasn't been stateside yet.
Jasson Dominguez got plenty of love in today's Yankees update.

    - No. 1 prospect
    - Best power hitting prospect
    - Fastest baserunner
    - Best athlete
    - Best defensive outfielder
    - Best outfield arm

    New scouting report: https://buff.ly/368I66o

If your dreaming up your ultimate prospect, a 17yr old who has all those elite tools, plays a premium position and is a switch hitter would have to be pretty close. Can't wait to see how he develops in the next couple yrs. It really wouldn't surprise me if the tools translate to live games well, that he could be our starting CFer by the time he's 19-20, similar to Soto

Baseball America and MLB.com are predicting that Dominguez could be a top 5 overall spec by next yr as long as he can make it stateside.

Other scouting sources that have seen him lately are saying he's improved his tools across the board quite a bit since he signed. Many are saying his RHed swing has caught up with his LHed swing and his pitch recognition from both sides has greatly improved. Another scout reported that he hit a ball over 118 mph recently, which is unreal for a 17 yr old.

If this kid doesn't succeed it will be a Brien Taylor type disappointment IMO
