I'm usually for trading high risk prospects when their value is high. But then again, that would have meant trading Judge back in the day. Wasn't it David Adams who held up the trade? Even worse.

Idk if it was Adams but Lee was way too long ago to be involving Florial.

Just looked it up... it wasn’t the Yankees who wouldn’t give up Adams. Deal was set... Montero, Adams, McAllister for Lee. Mariners got scared off by Adams medical... I think it was his shoulder.

Correct, then they asked for Nunez instead of Adams and Yankees said no.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Moral of the story: Never let a mid level prospect block a trade for an elite player.

I sure hope it works out that we get this kid. That would be 2 generational talents in the last 3yrs. I'd really be ok if they turned into Griffey and Arod 2.0... i'd be just fine with that

U can see the speed and athleticism in his swing and thats a LHed swing you can dream on absolutely destroying the short porch. I really think for my by far the most disappointing thing about this season is that we don't get to see Dominguez play. Hopefully the Yanks are able to give him enough reps at the training facilities that he doesn't completely loose this yrs development
