Hughes playing well, Smith is amazing as always. Might as well forget about the rest of our DBs

Rudy is painfully slow. If you’re going to throw a TE screen at least try to get the ball into Smith’s hands. He’s raw but that kid can run.

Kirk’s pocket presence on full display on that sack. He has no clue how to step up into a pocket.

    First half thoughts

    Mike Hughes looks really good.
We love beating up on bad teams and playing like **** against good teams. Don't let this game give you false hope.
The Giants have no idea how to defend a screen pass.
Dalvin is the best RB in the league.

Cousins going to throw for 500. Dalvin Cook is special. He is slippery and powerful, hopefully he stays healthy.

Wouldn’t be a typical Vikings game without an Everson Griffen offsides penalty.

Good win today. So far this year we’ve beat the teams we’re supposed to beat. Next week will be a test against Philly. I hope to see more of the play calling we saw today.

    I agree,

The amount of time and effort for what has the potential to be a nine yard gain is pointless. I also will never understand why Stefanski seems to have an entire page of passing plays specifically designed for CJ Ham. This team attempts more passes to the FB in one game than most teams have cumulatively over the last decade. The fact that he is split wide numerous times in a game with as the INTENDED target is just laughable and IMO grounds for firing the OC.

Good game aside from what I think was some poor play calling in the redzone. way to many FGS for how close they were to paydirt. Defense played pretty much lightfoot other than Rhodes getting picked on by a rookie. People give Speilman and Zimmer **** for drafting CB's but Hughes and Mac are this teams future at CB.

NEED a statement win next week over the Eagles or this trend of beating the bad teams and losing to good teams will just set up an 8-8 record.
