They had their chances and certainly played well but the Blues showed why they are the champs.

“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

Willy was so good tonight. He was by far their best player.

Yeah buddy. Everyone craps on him because of last year. When he's got the puck he's unreal. Him and Matthews are sick. Nylander is awesome.

Yup! I found it strange that he didn't get any ice time in the final minutes though.

Only 5 games in but it’s been a weird season so far. Edmonton 5-0. Detroit playing well.

That was a hell of a game for the 3rd and 4th lines. They won that game for the Leafs. Mikheyev, Kerfoot and Moore have been very impressive as a line from game 1. Tavares and Marner need to step up and produce. I thought Muzzin was really good tonight too.

Tavares lost his man on that play but that was a good first period.

No idea why Hutchinson got this game. Babcock drives me crazy.
