    If he's out two or three months, the Mets just might end up giving him his unconditional release rather than bother trying to rehab him.

    This is Lugo's 1st. But I agree Noah, Diaz, Stroman and Conforto should get a considerable increase.

    The projection for Diaz is ****ing absurd especially in comparison to the projection for Lugo. I'd almost rather the Mets cut him, than pay that ****ing bum that much money. Especially if they will not invest more money in other places as a result.

    Seriously though. How the **** does being awful merit a 1000% raise?! Meanwhile Alonso needs to win the HR Derby to double his salary. The pay structure in MLB is ****ing idiotic.

    I think he probably ask for that and the Mets counter with less and they settle at like 5M. Actually this is his first year of arb. He probably won't see anywhere near that. Maybe 4-5M

    Ramos is going to make $10,250,000 next year. If he can be moved for an affordable BP arm, they can improve the BP and still go get two guys of the Avila/Castro/Cervelli/Maldonado/Romine variety who improve the teams overall D.
