No, but your hatred for Wentz seems completely irrational and unfounded. Especially for a player on a team you "couldn't care less about."

I've always thought the same to be true for Mariota re supporting cast...not placing him at prime Cam level, but there have been QBs we thought would become better NFL QBs than they have who've been hampered, even completely thwarted, by ending up in situations that simply never allowed them to flourish. Goff and Wentz being excepetions, but most QBs drafted at the top are drafted by the worst teams....so if they're thrown out there to start right away, good chance there is a lack of skill players around them and/or a poor OL in front of them. For example, I think David Carr would have been an above average NFL QB had he not ended up on a Texans team whose OL was horrible but they put him behind it right away.....and after being sacked 76 times as a rookie, that deer in headlights look never went away.
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

I honestly feel like Eagles fans tend to be pro Cam more than most fan bases. I've never understood why that is, maybe they're just most likely to sympathize with a QB not being given help. I think Wentz is good, but isn't a guy who will carry a bad offense by himself. He was basically an MVP in 2017 with a good OL and average weapons.

No QB can completely carry an offense by himself MO matter how good he is. Not Brady, not Manning, not Montana, not Young, not Elway, not Marino, not any great QB you can ever think of.

Sure you can mask poor offensive line play with a generational mobile QB talent. Cunningham, Vick, Cam, Wilson. You can even mask the lack of an existence of a viable passing game with the same kind of player though none of those guys listed won anything aside from Wilson due to having an elite defense on the other side of the ball.

There isn't a QB in the league that would have massive success with what Wentz has had to work with for most of the season. And yet Doug keeps having him drop back and throw it 40 times a game rather than trying to establish the run game to help his QB out. It's madness.

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

    QB Ratings

Note that the two big upsets in the wild card round were home losses by 40 year old quarterbacks.
Not to mention that the third home playoff loss also had a 40 year old quarterback on the field for the home team. Time to put these guys out to pasture.
