Astros guy, right? That's what I'm thinking too if so.

Schulman said that he expects Espada to be the next manager based off the fact that he's coming in for another interview after the WS.

More than likely Wotus is done as a Giant too. The new manager will pick his own coaches of course. Wotus, a minor league Giant in 1988 has been with the team since, 31 years later it ends. Unless the team moves him up to the front office, he will be gone. He must have done something wrong or the players didn't jell with him. Either way, thank you Mr. Wotus for all your years as a Giant.

I don't think he necessarily did something wrong. I would guess it's more that he's simply not who they want helming the team. He's interviewed for numerous other managerial openings in the past and came up empty as well, so it's not like he's some can't miss choice as a manager.

    First move of the offseason.

Giants have claimed LHP Tyler Anderson from the Rockies. They've DFA'd Kyle Barraclough.

Replace Kapler with Kotsay and it's a good list.

Yup. Too bad the A's have announced Kotsay is returning.

Out of those names, I want Espada.

    1) Joe Espada in San Francisco for a second interview.

    2)
Per source, a new candidate has emerged in the San Francisco Giants search for a new Manager : Los Angeles Dodgers Field Coordinator Clayton McCullough.
