I think you have to. Duvall isn't the best in the world but, Joyce has done almost nothing. Snit has to do some kind of changes to jump start the offense

Yep, I would bring Swanson up in the order too, McCann isn't doing jack **** either, it's a shame every Cards SP is right handed, I wanted to see Cervelli play more.

    Acuña
    Albies
    Freeman
    Donaldson
    Markakis
    Swanson
    Duvall
    McCann

This lineup will also prevent the use of Tyler Webb to face three straight left handed hitters, he's been almost unhittable, the Cards bullpen is so deep that it's a problem either way, in this scenario we probably see Hensley who was impressive yesterday, but I'm going with he hot hand and play Duvall while also hitting Swanson higher in the order.

I think I would get a little crazy. this is the do or die game.

    Acuna
    Swanson
    Albies
    Donaldson
    Freeman
    Markakis
    Duvall
    McCann

It won’t happen but I would bench Markakis and start both Duvall and Joyce.

This is not bad, I would swap Freeman and Donaldson, but obviously this won't happen. The key in today's game is to get the lead early, we probably are going to see Waino at some point and we couldn't touch him. If Folty could get to us to the 6th I expect to see Fried, Soroka, O'day and Melancon pitching the late innings.

isn't it kind of sickening? I mean I understand this is pretty much the line up that got you to the playoffs but, they have done jack **** so far in the playoffs.

If you guys think about it, taking a series lead and getting to Game 5 is progress.

you know I am kind of pissed right now so I am going to vent. The braves removed the foam tomahawks from the stadium because that Helsley complained about it. Now I get the whole "cultural appropriation" thing about my god its getting to the point where you can't do anything. and before any of you guys start this whole "liberal/conservative" narrative you can stop right there. I am a registered democrat and have liberal leanings and I think this move is completely stupid. Everyone knows the tomahawk chop has been part of braves culture for a long time, you can't tell me Helsley had no clue about it and yet said nothing about it until it got to the playoffs. Its not like the Braves are dressing a guy up in full native american head dress and clothing putting him on a horse and sending him out to the middle of the field and having him throw a spear into the ground (looking at you Florida State). How about the Kansas City Chiefs? I believe they do a version of the chop. oh no thats all good, its just bad when the Braves are doing it in playoff games against the team this Helsley plays for.

Does he think him *****ing about it is going to stop it? there is no way in hell. like I said this has been part of Braves culture for over 30 years. Fans are going to do it with our without the drums playing or the foam tomahawks.

The only thing I am kinda happy about is I got my tomahawks before this **** went down.

I am going to end my venting there cause I know if I go on anymore then it will get me in trouble.

    /vent

Folty doesn't have it tonight. He's not an ace, so it was unfair to make him start the two games with the highest leverage.

Just pull him out now. This is ridiculous. So many chances to end this series and this is the result. We basically just lost the game in the first damn inning.
