I’m not gonna hold my breath on Burdi. Dude has been Hurt for his entire minor career. I’d expect more from Tyler Johnson and Ian Hamilton at this point.

I'm hoping they can bring Daniel Hudson back on a 1 or 2 year deal.

Hudson is interesting, because when the Sox had him as a starter earlier in his career, he was not a hard thrower. If I remember correctly, after he left the Sox he had some injury issues and has now come back throwing harder than before.

I find that hard to believe...Unless Puig can play some CF...otherwise don't think the Sox are serious.

Platoon in RF, Puig vs lefties and Maraza vs righties.

Puig sort of makes sense as a platoon RF. He may actually excel in Chicago with the team's heavy Cuban presence. You know he is thinking about that, and I'd bet that Abreu, Moncada or both have talked with him.

With all these offseason moves, I think it is safe to say that Renteria is “ on the clock”. Time to put up or shut up.

The bar has to be at least 85 wins this season and a wild card. Is Minnesota really a 100 win team? There is absolutely no reason why the White Sox cannot contend this year.

But if your Puig why would you settle for a one year deal and platoon? And diminish your value as a part time player.

Considering almost 1/4 of their entire schedule will consist of games against Det and KC, I think those expectations are more than fair.

I think expecting a 13+ swing on wins is more than fair. We are adding Grandal, Keuchel, Gio, Robert, Madrigal, Kopech to a 72 win team. If we add some relievers, that would probably put us over the top

I’m good with no Castellanos or Puig. Go for Mookie next year or Joc. Need bullpen help

We should only be signing a platoon player/backup depth OF'er to 1 year so it wouldn't hurt next year. I agree though. Don't want Puig. I feel like he could taint the young Cubans we have. Although Abreu would probably be able to control that to an extent.
