    As far as Lindor.....

Count me as a fan! A top 5 of...
    Lindor
    Albies
    Acuna
    Freeman
    Donaldson

Would be absolutely scary! Whatís scares me is the package price. For almost every trade Iím hesitant to give up Pache, Waters, or Anderson, let alone possibly two of them! However this proposal dose give me pause. Lindor is that GOOD! Iím going to have to let this one digest for a min.

Just a question though.... It seams the Lindor idea is loved, However the Bryant idea was dowsed with cold water immediately? Why the love for one and hate for the other? Both would be upgrades, both two years left on their deals. I prefer Lindor because of his age and athleticism, however I wouldnít close the door on one while leaving the other open.

Yes he got a QA of over 17 million. He must have not wanted to play in SF anymore.

The bullpen FINALLY has a proven 9th inning guy. The pen looks pretty strong on paper now:

    Will Smith
    Mark Melancon
    Shane Greene
    Darren O'Day
    Luke Jackson
Sean Newcomb (I assume he'll end up back in the pen)

We also have Minter, Sobotka, Webb, Weigel, Walker, and Dayton to compete for spots. Touki may end up in the bullpen too but I prefer him as a starter.

Thought so. He's a Georgia native so it makes sense he wanted to sign with Atlanta.

He's not but he was much better after the trade. Only 21 innings but:

    1.83 FIP
    10.3 K/9
    0.9 BB/9

His post season numbers don't look great but even when he blew game 1 it was on pretty weak contact. He should be fine in a set up role.

Well at least signing Donaldson wouldnít require a pick. What about if we do look to sign Bumgarner? Would that cost our top pick?

ok so here is something I was thinking about, if the Braves do trade for Lindor, is there a chance Dansby could slide to third if he isn't added in the trade for Lindor? I mean this is obviously if they don't re-sign Donaldson and don't think Riley is going to be able to be an everyday player.
