So with the Redskins and now maybe the Indians as well doing possible name changes it's only a matter of time before we end up in that group. Even though I feel our's is by far the best of the three as our meaning is Native American warrior people will still call for us to join them and change it. Who knows what that would be, our team has so many things around that.

I think ATL could keep the name Braves and simply change the logo. “Brave” is a virtue, it may just need rebranded.

The Braves are finally signing an international FA to a big bonus. SS Ambioris Tavarez is expected to sign for about 1.5 million, which is over half our pool. BA says he has big raw power. He's not listed in MLB's top 30 list but he's listed in their "best of the rest" group.

Freeman tested positive for COVID. Snit said it's going to be a while before he gets to camp.

Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Touki Toussaint, and Pete Kozma all tested positive for COVID. Toussaint and Smith are asymptomatic but Freeman is showing symptoms.

He only had an outside shot to make the rotation. I know he was looking solid in ST but his velocity was down from what I remember.

So it is true, Markakis has probably played his last game as a Brave after opting out for 2020.

Yasiel Puig is signing with the Braves for 1 year. We have our Nick Markakis replacement.

Wow! Did not see that coming. This should give us a lot of lineup flexibility with so many OF and DH options

Interesting signing. I thought they might explore a LH bat to platoon with Duvall. I assume Puig will start and this means Riley or Camargo are headed to the bench. My guess is Camargo. It will also be interesting to see who plays in LF/RF. Here are my guesses...

    Acuna - LF
    Albies - 2B
    Freeman - 1B
    Ozuna - DH
    Puig - RF
    Riley - 3B
    Catcher
    Swanson - SS
    Inciarte - CF

Maybe Inciarte or Riley platoons with Duvall? If Inciarte struggles with the bat again I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on a short leash. A hot hand approach will probably be the way the lineup shakes itself out.

    Acuna CF
    Albies 2B
    Freeman 1B
    Ozuna DH
    Puig RF
    Riley/Camargo 3B
    Duvall LF
    Swanson SS
    Catcher
