    2019/20 CFB Prospects/NFL Draft Thread

I might even stay put at 50 if it shakes out that way and go best S at 43 then Fulton at 50. CB talent drops off in a hurry after these last few left (Fulton, Johnson, Diggs).
If we go CB/S with these 2 picks, we could have a Legion of Boom secondary that would allow Mack, Hicks and Quinn to wreck havoc up front. We’d be making a Super Bowl caliber defense even better. I think we have enough on offense for Foles to manage and put up 20ppg. I expect Ridley to be a big contributor. Draft offense BPA with the remaining picks.

im actually kinda hoping for a trade back here to pick up some more picks to shore up our line depth and to take a mid round reciever. Lotta guys I like with 3rd round grades

Two 2nd round picks gives CHI the best chance to add two impactful players, especially with guys falling at positions of need. I wouldn’t hate a trade back, but at this point it wouldn’t be my first choice.

If Fulton makes it to 43, he's gotta be the pick IMO. Profiles similarly to Tre'Davious White coming out and LSU has a strong recent history of CB's transitioning to the pros. Only college better is Ohio State.

I think there's enough S depth in this draft to move back from 50 and still find a starter, but I don't think you can say that about CB.

We need impact players. We have 2 relatively high picks so we need to take advantage of that instead of trading back.

You can still get that by trading back. It's a deep draft. Having no picks between 50 and 163 is not ideal.

I'm okay with staying at 50, for the right player (better not be a TE), but I prefer a trade back.

Steve Muench of Scouts Inc (via ESPN article) has the Bears choosing LSU S Grant Delpit at 43 and Louisiana G Robert Hunt at 50 in his 2nd rd mock draft

    Both picks are disappointing IMO.

Delpit missed 1/3 of his tackles last season and is generally a poor fit next to Eddie. Taking any OG this early just feels like a bad value.

I like Hunt, but if you trade back some he might be there still....
