Thought you were done watching? Seems like everybody that says that is right back on here.

I wasn't buying into this team after they destroyed the Pirates last week like some were. I just didn't see them as turning the corner, but beating up on a bad team. I had a bad feeling that the Red series would be a let down, but I thought they would split this series. That is in jeopardy now. They really need these two and sweep the Pirates or they can probably forget the WC. I don't think it's likely they do that though.

Didn't you say after yesterdays loss you were done for the year? As frustrating as this season is, I will watch until the end regardless. I just wish they were about five games worse so I wouldn't have to worry about the playoffs.

I dont think it because they throw harder..
    I mean what harder?
There were tons of pitchers throwing mid 90s back then and they went deep into games..

I personally think it just the way these guys are brought up now and they just aren't allowed to throw that many pitches from day 1 and their arms cant handle it..

These guys get to 80 pitches and the first sign of a struggle, they're pulled..

Money has alot to do with it too..
Teams are just being overly cautious with these guys and not allowing them to stretch their arms out pass a certain amount of pitches..

Yeah, I don't know why anyone says that, because it doesn't last. It shouldn't either if you truly love the team. I get being frustrated and annoyed, but its hard to give up which is why I don't. Sometimes its that one that you love more than anything but it just won't love you back.

Even the dog looks miserable to be wearing the Cubs top. I wonder if he/she can hit a curveball.
