Whats saddening (to me) is this could be it for his career. 37, coming back from Tommy John, team needs a rebuild.

Smart. Avoiding having to play without Bell and Brown after seeing a bit of Juju and Conner.

Retire after surgery due to "issues" so people don't get to see your play without the other 2 Bs.
    First 4 years:
    Brown - 54 GP, 27 GS, 261 catches (63.3%) for 3,561 yds (8.6 AVG), 15 TD
    Landry - 64 GP, 57 GS, 400 catches (70.2%) for 4,038 yds (10.1 AVG), 22 TD

Huh. Wonder why Landry is getting paid so much...

"Hater" is a term used by weak minded people in the face of legitimate criticism.

Teams that are due for a solid QB are generally teams bad at drafting QBs or ruin them.

We had Kordell and then the XFL MVP before Ben.

Dudes been putting up digits since 2009. Not elite ones every year but at least fringe Pro Bowl type numbers. People always moving the stick. Dude performed without Bell last year and has performed without his top back and receivers before.

His problem is consistency no matter the talent around him. That is what has kept him from winning an MVP. Even last year, his 5k season, was probably one of the most inconsistent 5ks you will see attained.

Yeah, that's probably it. He'll still be under contract next season, but Pittsburgh would be dumb not to draft a QB if they get a high draft pick, which I assume they will.

Sucks for him, but it could be a blessing in disguise for the Steelers.

So? As a fan of one of those teams I'd still rather get the opportunity to get one than see the same elite teams get another elite QB.
