Maybe when we are up a ton against Indy, our MVP caliber QB is getting pressured, and you play it safe.

As a player Iíd be pissed regardless
Being down 42-21 is probably just brush it off though as Iíd rather my QB not get hit for a pass that doesnít matter.

Just throw the ****ing thing up though. It doesnít even matter
As I said, speculation. I'll never use that as proof or evidence. I know that is meta in the forum.

Itís time to move on from Carr

In my opinion Derek Carr v.2016 is vastly different than Derek Carr v.2019.

If he regains his 2016 mojo Iíll be behind him. If the Raiders retain him for 2020 Iíll hope for the best.

I just feel itís flawed thinking to build around hope. We will see.

I remember having above average talent on offense ... donít you miss that?

    Crabtree and Cooper
    Roberts in the slot

Then we dipped to Patterson and Holmes

    Then a busted Jordy

    Then Zay Jones, Ateman, Tyrell

Renfrow is all the hype I can get for weapons and Darren Waller maybe

Dude still hits high percentages, solid yards, great TD:INT ratio, all without a play maker

God damn I hate AB but imagine

Just imagine him being a focal point for the defense and the waterfall effect that happens

Williams as a 2 is great as a 1 trash
    Slot Renfrow
    Waller TE
    Jacobs having pressure off him

We are missing a number 1 receiver
    Thatís the piece on offense

Will hardly matter with the **** stain defense we have though

Give him a wide receiver at Crabtree or better level as a number 1 and I think itís a vastly different Carr you see again.

Everyone gets better with a number 1 threat outside

Gruden talks about the offense the same way Iím saying **** here

    Missing a number 1
    Great slot

    Defense sucks

We would love to add firepower

I am on Mayocks side with whether he chooses to keep Carr or not, but Gruden did talk about keeping Mack and cooper before trading them.

I believe heís being honest, but I believe that honesty only applies to the moment he gives those answers. If he feels a better choice is out there at any point he will take it.

Iím over the argument. Love carr as a person and professional, growing lukewarm on him at best as our QB, so just going to drink whatever KoolAid Gruden and Mayock pour out.

Well thats the correct attitude. Love the team , never the player

I agree.....but what happened to Coop, Crabs, and Roberts, and the O line? The following year, they were horrible. The only one that played well was Cook.
I think last year he had a better running game, and a better O line.
There were quite a few situations where Carr's decision making was horrible, and when he sticks his arm out to gain few more inches makes me nervous. Just the fact that the rumors of a trade are rampant, leads me to believe they're not happy with him. Not sure if I can tolerate another year of his antics.

Gruden is generally upbeat about players with his public comments.

This is true. They fell off hard

I like our young talent and think our offense is one WR away from being elite.

We finish drives with that WR- even if itís just having to game plan for him.

We will never be truly competitive until the defense doesnít suck

Defense needs to be the priority this offseason.

That should be Guentherís mantra going into 2020. ďTry Not To SuckĒ
