McGloin quit on us the week before the playoffs. I was very surprised and yeah, I was wrong about him in that regard. From that moment on, he was dead to me...like Carr.

I donít deny it, I havenít tried to distance myself from it. Like some do.

If youíd like to chat with Prox, donít do it through me. However, as far as cluelessness goes, you take the cake little man...and it sure seems to me thatís a pretty universally held belief.

Maybe you should try to add something to the conversation sometime instead of coming here to talk to yourself.

I thought Connor Cook played well considering the playoff game was his first career start. I was surprised he wasnít able to make more out of himself at the NFL level.

Early on in season team against the world motivation. Burn out and injuries showed lack of real talent and depth.

Jeff George has elite talent he was never an elite QB. He washed out playing for Gruden so did Cunningham. I never included Gannon in that group.

That was my point which went over your head. Gruden has always been able to elevate the play of QBís with intangibles but not ones with so called prototypical measurables and 10 cent heads.

George was sacked 9 times in the 1998 opener because he couldnít make a pre snap read-but he thought he could throw a strawberry through a battleship.

Itís all about tenacity, leadership and football acumen. A QB doesnít need elite physical talent to succeed for Jon Gruden. He just needs to be tough and have the head for it-something Carr lacks.

    Gannon was the perfect fit.

What is your point about Gannon? So what that he was a 4th round draft pick. Brady was selected in the 6th round.

Chris Simms was a third round pick BTW.

Marques Tuiasosopo was the highest QB Gruden ever drafted. Gannonís heir apparent had Jon stayed.

Again I said HC point about GB was Gruden Coached there and yes WRs coaches have a lot to do with QBs. How you donít know that says everything!

HC decides QB ultimately Gruden never decided as a positional coach input yes decision no. Again says a lot you donít know this fact

Point about Gannon is clear he was graft effort desire more than elite talent. Thought that was obvious really surprised you didnít get that. But not surprised really

What you got is it Stork or Prox both indistinguishable at this point same avatar might be a good idea.

If Carr is Raider next season all the offseason hype about his trade will melt him. He seems to get rattled easily

Sometimes itís better to just admit that you are completely ignorant to the situation being discussed. This is one of those times.

Ray Rhodes delegated the offense completely to Gruden. He called all of the plays and made all of personnel decisions on that side of the ball.

How do I know this? I followed the Eagles once Grudenís name began to circulate amongst the Raiderís beat writers prior to the 1996 season.

Al wanted to bring Jon in to work with Joe Bugel under then HC Mike White. Gruden wasnít interested in a lateral move nor sharing play calling duties. Gruden interviewed with Al no fewer than three times between 1996-1998.

Gruden benched Ricky Waters for his attitude. He pulled Randall Cunningham in favor of Rodney Peete. In fact Gruden was pretty much the de facto head coach according to Jon Kingdon who was the Raiders scouting directer at the time and so mentioned in the book he co authored with Steve Corkran and Bruce Kebric.

Jon Gruden also mentions his time in Philly in his autobiography.

Hereís the deal. I generally know what I am talking about on this forum. I am a voracious reader.

If you want to engage in a discourse with me then have your **** together. Wiping the board with you and Switchís weak **** is beginning to bore me.

Yes-I wish Jim Rome would have Carr on his show. He would have a field day with him.

BTW-I thought Romey was out of line with Jim Everett but it was certainly entertaining...

Lonzo is a bust due to his draft position. He may have a long career but hey so did Kwame Brown. You remember him right lol.

Kwame who gave us Pau! You know I do lol, have watched every Lakers game since 1996 when Kobe was drafted.

I get it, you guys think heís a bust but Iíve watched 90% of Pelicans games and the kid is still growing and only getting better sure his numbers arenít eye popping but he keeps improving. Shooting 37% from 3 now 12-6-7-1.5 and is ranked as the 3rd best defensive PG in the league behind only Ben Simmons and Bledsoe. His connection with Zion is fire and theyíre going to make an awesome duo as they grow together. Donít throw in the towel quite yet because without those stupid *** shoes he was wearing heís been very healthy and producing. Will make the Allstar team multiple times in the future. Hope the Pelicans can keep Ingram because love that kid too, I think he will get max money in FA and rightfully so, a team like the Knicks should be all over that kid.

I donít want to talk basketball in here lol, so if you want join us in the Lakers forum!

Who cares, weíre just in here talking g football and itís our opinions. I never understood why some people result to name calling and belittling itís ridiculous and Iím just going to ignore it. Weíre all Raiders fans here, itís been a tough 17-18y and we just all want to win again, thatís the bottom line.

No where did I say he would be a viable starter or that I even wanted him back.

Seriously if you canít keep up stay out of the conversation.

    You are embarrassing yourself.

So a QB like McGloin who was just benched in the XFL. Yes the XFL. Lmao. Like I said, you are clueless! If your hate for Carr wasnít so deep you wouldnít be posting stupid **** like this.
