    Exactly.

I have been a Dolphins fan for almost 30 years but if they trade him it will be the final straw for me and I’d be done with this amateur-ran franchise until they can prove they can turn things around into something respectable.

Pretty sure not wanting to be part of the rebuild is a big part of it too. Nobody wants to play for a team that tells you to lose on purpose.

He would replace Jeff Heath at Safety. He would be a definite upgrade over Jeff Heath. I saw a fan suggest:

Minkah Fitzpatrick and a 7th for Dallas’ 1st and Taco Charlton. Again, a fan posted that but I do think it’s a package Miami would consider depending on the other offers on the table.

Zimmer should be in Rick Speilmans ear about Minkah.

Trade Trae Waynes and a 2nd for him. That should be enough

Call me crazy, but I think the Dolphins want two 1st round picks for him.

Waynes is a FA after the season. Doubt Miami would be interested in that. Just send next year's 1st and a couple other future mid rd picks.

That might be what they want but that’s probably not what they are going to get. I bet he ends up getting traded for a 1st/2nd round pick and a player. For example if it was the eagles it’d be something like a 1st/2nd and big V in my opinion

    Your baby can't do this

Point of emphasis is that they allowed him to seek a trade.

They're not trying to get rid of him, so why should the asking price be low?

relative to his draft position, maybe not, but he's better than a lot of starting CBs in this league

...and maybe you missed where the suggestion included a 2nd rd pick as well
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

the problem, in situations like this (similar to Rosen) is that it's kinda like buying a new car......it loses trade value just driving it off the lot................a team looking at Minkah may have been high on him last year, but now looking at him thinking..why would a rebuilding team draft him high one year then be willing to trade him the next? What's wrong with him?

It should be: "what's wrong with that front office?"

They should have simply told him they aren't trading him.
