Maryland/Temple could be interesting or could become a blowout. Also i am thinking Boise State gets a chance to set themselves straight and hold on to a top 25 ranking,I was thinking they were in danger of dropping out with close wins to start the season.

I honestly forgot Les Miles even went to Kansas, they have been so far off the map that it is hard to really remember or think about them.

BC is a decent squad so that is a "bigger" win of sorts for Les and Kansas, at least where Kansas has been recently. I wonder if they could end up bowling this year even with the bad loss to Coastal Carolina.

Penn State in a tight one with Pitt and Maryland has been struggling with Temple all day (down 5 currently with 7 minutes to go).

Pitt played to lose kicking a field goal down 7 in the red zone (one timeout and 4 minutes to go mind you) and it looks like they got what they deserve.

Georgia Tech loses at home to The Citadel. Oof, not a good look for the ACC.

5 star recruit of a kicker and apparently it still does not matter for Alabama, their kickers just miss field goals.

what offense are they running now? Without Paul Johnson running that boring triple option crap, I wonder who they replaced him with and what he runs

it can't be easy to transition from a team full of recruits built to run that junk, and then switch to a new offense with a new coach and expect those former recruits to run the new system well

edit: yikes, just saw they scored a TD to essentially ice the game but it was called back, not because of penalty, but because of a premature coaching TO, something you and I know all too much about

I'd guess a mix of spread much like most teams. I did not catch the game same for the highlights so I do not know for sure. That said I did hear about the ending, that was really rough but glad to see coaches of all levels make stupid mistakes like that! Wish it happened to other teams but hey that is our lot in life apparently, make the mistakes so others do not.
