As a Raider fan, I'm tired of getting ***** on by the football gods. First, Neiron Ball passed away. That put a damper on the start of the day - poor kid. Just a kid, man. Bumming. Then, the news comes out that Abrams is injured, quite possibly for the remainder of the season.

Really want tj McDonald but I think we probably get George iloka which is decent. Kinda pissed me off when he turns us down twice but at least he knows the defense

He may be lost for the season. That's what I heard. Damn. My only question is if it was in the first quarter, why didn't they take him out? As a character reference, the kid kept bringing it all game.

I think our backups will fill in admirably. He was just a rookie with no NFL experience. Word is that Riley will move up and take his place.

He might have been a rookie but he looked like he was gonna be a huge part of our defense. Were thin in the secondary and his loss will be felt.

This sucks. Wish the kid a successful surgery and speedy recovery. And whatever you do, don't order the hospital salmon.
"Why can't we tell the world that [as the Raiders' coach] you refused to play games in the segregated South, holding out to the point where they were canceled?' And he would stop me dead in my tracks and say, 'Hey, kid -- I didn't do it for publicity. I did it because it was right.' "
