Depends on the argument? Statistically, yet, there’s an argument. Does that equate to being one of the 5 best? Arguable.

Yeah that’s why I was sure to emphasize the statistically part and said arguably.

Those are true but these are true too:

*Dak has the privilege of throwing to one of the best wide receiver groups in the NFL

*has an elite run game and offensive line

*Has had an easy schedule up until this point

*Has a great defense to give him more opportunities

Dallas does not have a great defense. But yeah, keep trotting our the same old argument that Dak is only a beneficiary of talent around him. Cool.

At one point Alex Smith was mentioned in mvp conversations. Great statistical seasons can happen to game managers if they are put in perfect situations

It’s hard to say he’s performing top 5 though until he beats a few good teams. This final stretch run will say more about him than the previous 10 weeks, imo.
