Last few times we played Atlanta we’ve been able to win by containing Julio. If we can do that on Sunday, we should win. Matt Ryan will throw the ball to the other team if we can generate some pressure.

We should win this game(although it wouldn't surprise me if we started slow)

First games of the season are always hard to predict. I have no idea if Atlanta will be good or bad this year. Don't they usually start off really strong then fade down the stretch? Hopefully we can pull out the W but wouldn't be surprised either way.

Rhodes always plays well against Jones

The Packers have 5 of their 8 home games in the first 7 weeks- in Chicago tonight, in Dallas week 5
They could potentially get off to a hot start.
The problem for them is, that means a lot of games on the road the 2nd half of the season with only the Redskins and Bears at Lambeau in cold weather (Panthers in early November).

Meanwhile the Bears host both the Packers and Vikings in September, the Cowboys and Chiefs in cold weather, and go to Lambeau 12/15 and finish the season at USBank

So neither gains a lot of home field weather advantage and finish the season tough

The Vikings get their trips to Green Bay and Chicago in September, then finish the season with 2 games out west and all 3 home division games.

Slow is one thing; whatever that was that the Bears did last night was another.

Reminds me of us for that opener against San Fran. YUCK!

That was quite the humbling experience for that team and those fans. They better cool their jets with all the Super Bowl, homeboy discussions!

Anyway, both the Packers and Bears looked like @$$ last night, but they'll improve, so we really need this win against Atlanta, especially going into Lambeau next weekend.

I know the crowd will be rockin' (I can't wait); I just hope the team shows up, especially the supposedly new and improved offense. We shall see...
