Brewers at Cubs IGT 08.30.19-09.01.19 - Home Cook'n Edition

Wait, so you thought a sweep of the Mets was going to get a nice and pretty IGT? F That. This team has to regain that home swagger before I put the effort in. Last series will now be referred to as the #NakedSweep. When we win it all this year, THAT's gonna be the moment I point to that turned this ship around. Those eyes doe, wow.

    Anywho,

    Game 1 - win
    Game 2 - win
    Game 3 - win

    Need I say more?

Who's getting naked if we sweep? If it's me, then I'm headed to the gym right now.

What is going on with this line up. No Heyward, no Bryant and no Rizzo. For me, you donít rest Bryant unless Rizzo is back(at the least). And maybe not until Rizzo and Contreras are back. And not against the Brewers. Wow, this is a terrible line up.

We have like a month left in a big divisional game and this is the lineup we put out there? Come on.

We will have to wait and see but if they score 2 or less today and lose then this is another one on Maddon that will justify his departure after the season

Team got in early Friday morning and a quick turnaround. Heyward needs a day off, Rizzo is still hurt and KB probably was going to get a day off soon so I guess today is the day.

Big series Bryant has good numbers againts Anderson but he is not there. I am not a believer in the letís get this guy an off day thing because the majority of the time those guys end up in the game later on.

This is pretty much do or die for the Brewers postseason chances. Can likely put them our of their misery with a series win

Supposedly KB was grabbing at his knee when rounding 2nd base last night during the game. Take it FWIW:

Bryant probably needs arthroscopic surgery. Teams might lowball us this winter.

Did you see that someplace or are you playing doctor?

Playing doctor, or I would have cited a source. It's pretty common when players play through knee injuries.
