I've had Chick Fil A a few times. Always on road trips. We had our first one open up maybe like 10-15 minutes from me about a year ago, but never went out that way to get it. Not sure why. For fast food, it's really good.

I think I read the other day that Chick Fil A is the 2nd or 3rd best grossing fast food chain. Which is impressive considering that they have far less stores than some, and they aren't open on Sundays. I'd actually probably have it more often, again on road trips, if they were open on Sundays.

People seem to like Popeyes. I've never had it, even though there are a few in the area. The chicken sandwich they just put out seems to have taken the world by storm lol.

I read an article that Chick Fil A loses over a billion dollars by not being open on Sunday...and yet it's the smartest decision they could make. It keeps people talking about them and wanting to go there, primarily on Mondays.

I'll be honest, I've never had a Popeyes sandwich, so I can't comment on that. But Chick Fil A is amazing! And their sauce is great.
Think long and hard about why you respond to nonsense. Please!

I love the idea as a business. I'm sure they do lose revenue. But it does drive more traffic in on the other 6 days and I think it's got to help employee satisfaction. No one, at least with the day to day operations, is working 7 days a week, and it would make scheduling much much easier. It would also help with production planning.

The nearest Chick-Fil-A to me is about an hour. They opened up about a year ago i'd say. I will probably try it if i am out that way, but no thanks to driving an hour for fast food. lol

On a side note, i am gonna be driving from MA to FL in a few weeks, i am sure there is one along the way. lol

Yea there are limits to how good something is and Chick Fil A is great, but absolutely not worth an hour drive. One of my favorites that is slipping away is Fuddruckers. I love their burgers and think they are better than just about any chain of burger places but the closest one is about 30 miles on the highway. I'm not going to drive that far to get one just because I've got a craving. Now when I'm headed to my parent's house, it's on the way and there's a damn good chance I'll swing by.

That's good to know. I drove by one the other day, somewhere I think around Southern Pennsylvania. I actually was thinking it was called Fudrutters, and that Rutters was just like a shorter version of the name, but I guess they're two separate companies and Rutters is just like a Sheetz or something.
