common sense does not exist with the Lions

I've been wondering if that's the strategy. Like, why bother pressuring the dude that is so mobile he'll just run around it and then every receiver will be open. Instead, stay home and play the passing lanes and we ended up with at least 4 batted passes, so that kinda worked.

We also shaded the receivers against the slants, so that combination was unstoppable... until the 4th quarter when they realized they could hit the out routes nonstop forever

absolutely agree, this was his worst day as a Lion, from his first return when he had a big return set up left OR right, and he tried to somehow go left AND right, and found himself losing 2 yards like a dope, then a fumble, and basically nothing went right.

Don't forget the unfortunate injury timeout after we made a great tackle and forced the clock to run, but our dude was hurt so we had to use a TO by default.

We settled down at the end and had a great 4 minute offense to run the clock, then of course we call timeout nullifying the potential 1st down. So of course we lob a duck the next play, get forced to punt, get the punt blocked... I mean, you can't script this ****

4 batted passes and 4 sacks. I think the pressure in the first half was great...we just did nothing in the second half.
