Game 1: Tuesday August 27th at 8:40 PM

Rick Porcello (11-10) –(5.49 ERA)

Rick Porcello lost after allowing three runs and walking four in five innings against the Phillies on Wednesday.
All three of the runs came in the fifth, an inning that included a walk to No. 9 hitter Adam Haseley (who came into this one with five walks in 113 major league plate appearances). Porcello has been effective in two of his four starts this month, but those wins came against the dregs of the league (Kansas City and Balitmore). Quality outings against decent offenses have been few and far between.
Jeff Hoffman (1-4) – (7.81 ERA)

Game 2: Wednesday August 28th at 8:40 PM

Eduardo Rodriguez (15-5) – (3.92 ERA)

Eduardo Rodriguez reeled off seven scoreless frames in a win over the Padres on Friday.
Rodriguez scattered five hits, walked one batters and recorded seven strikeouts in this one. He was staked to a six-run lead after two frames and faced little resistance over seven solid innings of work. The 26-year-old left-hander has recorded a solid 3.92 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 155/59 K/BB ratio in 160 2/3 innings across a career-high 27 starts this season.
Peter Lambert (2-4) – (6.40 ERA)

Peter Lambert was charged with four runs -- two earned -- over 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Friday.
Lambert gave up six hits, including a two-run homer to Marcell Ozuna in the first inning. He struggled mightily with his control, walking four batters in this one. He also failed to record a strikeout for the first time this year. The 22-year-old rookie right-hander simply doesn’t miss enough bats to warrant a mixed-league investment. He owns a bloated 6.40 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 44/25 K/BB ratio across 70 1/3 innings (14 starts) this season.
