Who gives a **** if someone posts only during the good times or only during the bad times? I mean honestly why does it matter so much to some people?

Thereís a difference in negative posts, and negative posts made by a select few only during losses.

That being said, negative posts do get treated differently in this forum by some. Not good, bad, or indifferent but itís just how it tends to be. This team isnít without issue, yet speaking about them will certainly bring out a good deal of defensiveness from some.

Forget statistics. If you don't think this team has a serious feast/famine problem on offense, you're either stupid, or you're lying. Full stop.

Eh, post however you want. Where did I say not to? I do think you're a miserable ****ing fan of you've spent the last 5 years, the best in franchise history constantly *****ing and whining. If I thought "soft" existed that's what I'd call those people. 1 loss after a five game winning streak and you gotta cry and yell? Boohoo. Get over it

What positive post could be posted? Nothing. Factual posts? Yes.

You have anything positive to bring to this IGT? That's why it's dead. There's nothing good to say.
Most of the people Iím referring to barely post when we win. Then they come in and ***** when we lose. Itís blatantly obvious what theyíre doing.

I didn't say forget facts, I said forget statistics. Statistics lie. Facts don't. The fact is, this team has a feast/famine problem on offense. If you don't see that, I don't know what you're watching.

Because the people that only post negative things in negative times never offer anything constructive.

So if stats prove that youíre wrong, we should still ignore them because youíre right anyway?

Agree. It is an in game thread after all. The posts should be reflective to what's going on during that game/series.

Some posters, like myself, post negative when when they are doing bad during the game, and positive things when they are doing good during the game.

Some poster never have anything good to say.

Some posters refuse to say anything negative no matter what. These are the posters that defend poor play with some obscure stat(s), when the only stat that matters is win and loses.

There's way more rah-rah guys on here. It's clear because we have a dead thread during a blow out, and a busy thread when they are doing well.

Either way, it's not a big deal. It's a sports forum and guys should be allowed to post anything relative to the situation. Negative or positive.

I prefer honest and pragmatic posts opposed to the cheerleader type posts during a bad game(s)

Again.....it's really not anything to get upset about either way.

You spent so much time a few days ago trying to use statistics to prove this very point.

Well, that failed miserably, and it was pointed out that the stats actually show the opposite.

    Now today it's "forget statistics".

    Too funny.

    Couple positives in this game..
Castellanos a cub and he got another hit..
Chatwood and Chisek didn't give up any runs..

The negatives in this game ..
    Offense Jekyll and Hydes continues..
Strop and Holland are looking useless..

Biggest negative is Lester, 3rd bad start out of 5 this month

Going to need him to find his groove again when they get into September
