Yeah, you are right. I forgot about the 40 man being full.

I wouldn't be upset if the DFA'd Ravelo or Garcia though. But I don't think they are that rushed to start Carlson's clock.

I'll guess that Wong doesn't go on the IL, and is back as a pinch hitter Tuesday, and starts Wednesday (I think they'll wait to see how he feels tomorrow)

I think they'll carry Knizner for September
Martinez and O'Neill will come back in September (I believe)
Maybe Randy A also comes up

I think Junior Fernandez will be called up, along with Ponce and maybe Cabrera (9 K's in a row yesterday)

God I would love nothing more than for Carp to go back to his career slash down the stretch and be the everyday guy through the playoffs at third, and Wong at second, and Edman the valuable utility guy off the bench.

If we somehow can win the division what do you guys think the rotation will look like?

    Flaherty
    Hudson
    Mikolas

I think people are over stating Hudson's success

    I think it's

    1. Flaherty
    2. Mikolas
    3. Hudson
    4. Wainwright

They'll time Wainwright to pitch at home, and Wacha will be his reliever

If we win our division, and play the first two games on the road though, I can see

    Road Games
    1. Flaherty
    2. Hudson

Because Hudson home/road splits don't seem to matter much

    Then
    Home Games
    3. Mikolas
    4. Wainwright

Road Game 5 or possibly Road game 1 NLCS

    5/1. Flaherty

But I think Mikolas is better than Hudson.

Mikolas needs to step his game up down the stretch, but so does Waino and Wacha.

Mikolas has been leaving too many pitches over the middle of the plate.

If Carp gets going, we are a dangerous team that can beat anybody.
