Here is a list of FA that the Cardinals should look into:

    3b: Anthony Rendon; Josh Donaldson
    LF: Ozuna, Corey Dickerson
RF: Castellanos; Corey Dickerson; Nick Markakis
SP: Cole; MadBum; Ryu; Hamels; Kuechel

I think most of these guys resign with their current teams. Though the essential need is getting SP especially front line SP.

Realistically I'd probably do Ozuna in LF get Corey Dickerson (on short deal to stop gap for Carlson) for RF where he'd play 3/5 time with JMart and Fowler. Sign Hamels on 1-2 year deal. Keep Cmart and trade Gorman/O'Neill plus for SP or bat at next trade deadline.

    CF: Fowler/Bader
    RF: Dickerson/Jmart/Fowler
    1b: Goldie
    LF: Ozuna
    SS: DeJong
    C: Molina
    3b: Carpenter/Edman
    2b: Wong
    SP

    Flaherty
    CMart
    Hamels
    Hudson
    Mikolas

If I had monopoly money as GM I wouldn't leave the winter meetings without one of Rendon or Cole while bringing back Ozuna.

A Rendon Ozuna offseason would look like this lineup

    CF Fowler/Bader
    3B Rendon
    1b Goldie
    LF Ozuna
    SS DeJong
    RF JMart
    C Molina
    2B Wong
    SP

because its straight video game moves.

betts is becoming a free agent. we arent godlie'ing him here. selling off for one year at the cost you suggest is asinine.

i dont give a flying frick about anderson. im not trading the farm for him. sorry. gorman may be a bust, anderson my have a better career but anderson doesnt have the upside of gorman and has shown nothing to say they are even going to be in the same ballpark if both spend 10 years in the league. if they are its because gorman didnt live to his potential up here not because anderson played about his head.

Anderson has already shown he can hit for power, decent average and has a solid on base with very good defense.

I think we could keep Betts here honestly. But fair enough.
