    That is beautiful, especially after sitting through months of illustrious catchers like Bobby Wilson.

    Jake is going to be a big time fan favorite for the next 5-6 years. He won't hit much for average, but he has really good power and his defense brings all the girls to the yard. He's going to really help the youngsters develop over the next few seasons.

    Itís amazing the effect on the minor league pitchers. Many of them stumbled a bit in AA after he was promoted to AAA.

    He is a major asset if he can bat just .240 with 15+ HR's. If he continues to bat .150-.200 then his defense isn't worth a squat. Bump him up to .260 with 20 HR and he's an all star with that defense. I have my fingers crossed but I thought the same about McCann, who was one of my favorite Tigers.
