Sato is gonna go down as a steal this offseason. I feel really good about our team right now. Really hope we are smart enough to start Sato at the Point, and use him as depth at the 2 and 3 while letting Dunn and White get some minutes. Our Big Man rotation is already gonna be great. I think Sato a 5 man rotation of Sato/Lavine/Porter/White/Dunn could be really good. Basically any meaningful minutes Porter is out at the 3, Sato fills in. When Sato isnít at PG, White or Dunn can fill the void. When Lavine gets rest, White or Dunn can fill in there too.

I love that the Bulls are already talking about a lot of minutes for Lauri at the 5 too. That means they plan on using that 3 man Lauri/Wendy/Thad combo perfectly.

I think we are really gonna sneak up on the league this year.

Good, don't really see the need for him. He's the type of player you keep around for a bad team. We are moving out of that bad team part of this rebuild.

Watching Sato ball out in the FIBA World Cup has me excited AF about this coming season. Sato, Porter, and Thad were the best possible additions for a team like ours, that wasn't in play for the stars.

I love the way Sato pushes the ball up court. He has killer court vision too.

We have to be up there as one of the biggest starting 5's in the league if Sato starts.

    6'7" PG
    6'5" SG
    6'8" SF
    7' PF
    6'10" C

Should be one of the better 3 point shooting starting 5's as well. Porter and Sato should be around 40% from 3. Hopefully Lavine and Lauri upper 30's.

Watching Sato run the break today, and basically run that entire offense makes me even more excited about this season. Every time Sato pulled down a DREB, he was instantly running the floor or looking for an outlet pass. He did pretty good finding guys with inferior athletic abilities. Imagine Sato running the break with Lavine!!!

Before the offseason I said that the perfect fit next to Lavine and Lauri would be an unselfish pass 1st PG who shoots high percentages, and an efficient 3 and D wing. We couldn't have found 2 more perfect fits in Sato and Porter.

We should run a 5 man rotation at the 1/2/3 with Sato/Lavine/Porter/Dunn/White. Let Sato pick up the minutes at the 3 when Porter is out. Let Dunn and White fill it at PG and SG off the bench. Dunn and White could be a solid Defense/Offense tandem.

Add that with the Thad signing, who is the perfect hard nosed modern day small ball big off the bench, and we have a very functional lineup. Thad pairs well with Lauri and Wendell which will make for a perfect 3 man 4/5 rotation. Lauri/Wendell, Thad/Lauri, Thad/Wendell all work, and they all provide a different wrinkle.

Lauri/Wendell is the perfect classic PF/C combo. Should provide a boatload of rebounds. Also a perfect inside/out offense/defense combo. The prototypical Stretch 4 paired with a low post rim protector.

Thad/Lauri is the perfect modern day Combo. Versatile Small Ball PF who can defend multiple positions, paired with a Stretch 5. Thad's defense, intensity, and veteran leadership will do wonders for Lauri's game.

Thad/Wendell is the perfect shut down defense 4/5 combo. A big steals guy in Thad and a big blocks guy in Wendell.

I know there are other guys that will be a part of the rotation, but those 8 would probably be my playoff rotation.
