It'll be what Paxson leans on the most in his postseason presser, just like the last couple years. Then he'll say some horseshit about Boylen being the right guy to develop this group, etc, etc. They'll go on and pick the safe prospect at 7, talk about player growth, and playoffs being the expectation for next season...all while taking zero chances in free agency or the trade market.

It's kind of amazing that a basketball team in Chicago is run like they're in a small market and they've yet to adapt to the consistent player movement of this current era.

I'm just going to put this out there. Thibs got fired because he couldn't beat a stacked Miami Heat team with the average / hurt players he had and couldn't find Rose a SG to pair with him. Then Garpax sold us that this was still a championship team and Freddy was the guy to do it. Freddy got fired because not only did his team not play well but he didn't have his players that fit his system around him. But at the same time, Garpax chose Freddy over Jimmy Butler saying Jimmy wasn't the type of player you can build around (look at Miami). You fire Freddy then promote Boylen and ****ing give him an extension. This ****ing franchise lol...

Thibs got fired because he ran people into the ground.

Fred wasn't chosen over Jimmy. I don't know why you keep saying that. We chose not to give Jimmy the super max. If you super max jimmy then you would have been stuck.

Miami didn't build around Jimmy. They had their team and then got jimmy. Jimmy went to the perfect situation.

You are right about Boylen. There was no need to extend him. Was just them extending their yes man who says the dumbest **** over and over.

We'd be paying Jimmy a similar contract to what CP3 and Westbrook have. As good as he is, that's not ideal since this FO can't attract any worthwhile FA's.

It was the right time to move on, but aside from Zach, most of their decisions after that have kinda sucked, unsurprisingly.

We've had more injuries since Thibs left. Everyone plays their players heavy mins... that narrative was always so exaggerated. Thibs got canned bc he wasn't a puppet and the FO got tired of having someone with a vocal dissenting opinion. Hence the two yes man clowns we've had since.

    Oh dear. Just gets worse.

9 people now confirmed dead from heli crash that included Kobe and his daughter Gianna.

Also sounds like Orange County College baseball coach John Altobelli was killed in same heli crash:
