    (62-58) Red Sox @ Indians (71-47)

Game 1: Monday August 12th at 7:10 PM

    Eduardo Rodriguez (13-5) (4.17 ERA)

Rodriguez is facing the Indians for the first time this season on Monday. He is 1-0 with a 2.63 ERA in two starts against them in his career. Rodriguez allowed two runs over five innings in his last start on Aug. 7 against the Royals.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Zach Plesac (6-3) (3.13 ERA)

Plesac made his Major League debut in Boston on May 28 and will now make his 14th start of the season against the Red Sox on Monday. The 24-year-old allowed one run on four hits in 5 1/3 innings on a rainy night at Fenway Park in their first meeting.

Game 2: Tuesday August 13th at 7:10 PM

    Chris Sale (6-11) (4.41 ERA)

Sale was stellar in his last start, tallying 13 strikeouts over eight scoreless innings against the Angels. He will make his first start of the season against the Indians on Tuesday.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Mike Clevinger (7-2) (3.02 ERA)
Last time out, Clevinger tossed a career-high 117 pitches to spare his depleted bullpen an extra inning of work. The right-hander allowed two runs on three hits in seven frames, striking out nine batters and walking one in Minnesota.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Game 3: Wednesday August 14th at 1:10 PM

    Brian Johnson? (1-1) (7.32 ERA)

Brian Johnson struggled in a no-decision against the Angels on Friday, allowing three runs on two hits and a pair of walks over 2 2/3 innings.
Johnson was pressed into emergency duty with David Price hitting the injured list. He served up a three-run bomb to Albert Pujols with two outs in the first inning, but was able to limit the damage otherwise. He has been a disaster in 19 2/3 innings at the big league level, registering a 7.32 ERA and 2.03 WHIP.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Shane Bieber (12-4) (3.28 ERA)

Over his last four outings, Bieber has tossed 32 innings, including two complete games. In that span, he's owned a 1.69 ERA with 37 K's and has held opponents to a .193 batting average. Last time, he allowed two runs in seven innings vs. the Twins.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Game Notes:

If Sale is back to his old self like last outing, I can see us taking 2/3. Important 3 games. 7.5 Games out of the WC.

It's common sense that a barely above .500 team in mid Augues "is not Good". I just don't have fits over it on the interwebs.
