I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

    Fire the training staff.

All these injuries, someone needs to be held accountable.

I call BS. The training staff has been exemplary at keeping JA Happ and Austin Romine healthy all season! Stop the hate!

Gleyber Torres hit three home runs in the Yankees' sweep over the Red Sox last weekend.(AP)

Gleyber Torres was hospitalized Sunday night after leaving in the eighth inning of the New York Yankees' 7-4 victory over the Boston Red Sox with what manager Aaron Boone called a "core issue."

Torres' father later tweeted that his son is fine and left the hospital. He also said he would be on the bus to Baltimore, where the Yankees are set to open a three-game series Monday night.

It is unclear when Torres was injured during the game. He went 0-3 as the starting second baseman and lead-off hitter before being replaced in the top of the eighth inning.

Fellow infielder Gio Urshela was also injured after fouling two balls off his leg in the sixth inning before being replaced. X-rays on his leg were negative.

Torres -- who was named an All-Star for the second straight season -- is hitting .286 with a .353 on-base percentage, 23 home runs and 62 RBIs.

Despite the many injuries New York has sustained over the course of the season, they have the best record in the American League at 72-39 entering Monday.

Gleyber Torres said he feels good today. He is in lineup as DH but said he could play the field. Had ultrasound last night after a pain he hadnít felt beforeópointed to lower right abdominal area. Given meds and cleared to play.

I'm not into firemen. I prefer police officers.
You should have gone though. Would have been cool to meet someone from the forum.

You may meet Mush, or one of his multiple personalities.

I was really looking forward to taking my lady to her first Yankees game. But, good friends 30th birthday party ended up being the same day.
