Line up is pretty much what I expected. Need to get this one and start the trip right. The Reds have good pitching going in this series, but so do the Cubs. Time to start winning on the road and win the central.

I would be ok with splitting the road trip.

We're gonna need some production from the Almora, Happ, Lucroy section of the order. Can't have those three go 1-12 with 5 Ks or something.

No wasting time getting Lucroy out there

I like it. He caught Hamels before. So he should be familiar with him. And, Caratini probably needed a day off anyway.

We have a dozen of us heading to Cincinnati tomorrow morning. Anybody else going to be out there? Saturday, we are in sec 117 if anybody wants to run down and buy me a beer! Hahaha

We don't have tickets for Friday, but we may head down and grab some, or just watch it in a bar near the park.

This time I will not be heading down to the dugout to give Joe an ear full. You guys made me feel bad last year!

Switch hitter off the bench also. Happ has been playing that role as of late, but since he's starting, we still got a guy.

So apparently, the Cubs are hanging their home whites in their lockers in Cincy.

If that gets them going on the road............so be it.

Rizzo turns 30 today (jeez) and I hope he decides to take it out on the Reds.

Rizzo turning 30 is the baseball equivalent of a mid-life crisis for this core. Not a bunch of kids anymore. I realize it's been that way, just feels more symbolic is all.
